In der Gemeinde Mauth im Landkreis Freyung/Grafenau errichtete die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern im Jahr 2005 das Otterhaus Bayern. Dort wird eine deutsch-tschechische Ausstellung zum Fischotter präsentiert.
Auf den neuen Flächen der Wildland-Stiftung Bayern bei Frauendorf sind besonders die Kalktuffquellen schützenswert. Zu Beginn der Sommerferien konnten Kinder diese nun erkunden und kennenlernen.
Auch beim zweiten Ferienprogramm des „Natur.Vielfalt.Isental“-Projekts am 03. August hat es der Wettergott wieder sehr gut mit den 17 Teilnehmern und den beiden Projektbetreuerinnen Gabriele Nikles und Anja Thole gemeint, und ihnen einen sonnigen Nachmittag im Niedermoorgebiet Thalhamer Moos beschert, bei dem all ihre Sinne gefordert waren.
Der Bienenzuchtverein Dorfen hat die beiden Projektbetreuerinnen Gabriele Nikles und Anja Thole eingeladen, das „Natur.Vielfalt.Isental“-Projekt bei ihrer Versammlung am 03. August im Gasthaus Huber in Landersdorf vorzustellen.
