Gemeinsam mit dem Biber gestalten die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern und ihre Kooperationspartner einen Feuchtlebensraum bei Gartenried in der Oberpfalz. Schwarz- und Weißstorch sowie viele Amphibien danken es ihnen.
Strukturen im Gewässer, dem Hartgraben, und seinem angrenzenden Ufer sind das Ziel des Projekts der Wildland-Stiftung Bayern bei Pönning, denn drumherum wird die Landschaft intensiv genutzt. Vor allem Amphibien und das Niederwild profitieren davon.
Auf einer abgelegenen Waldwiese bei Trausnitz nutzte die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern eine alte Quelleinfassung, um dem seltenen Schwarzstorch ein Nahrungsbiotop anzulegen.
Den Erhalt des Niedermoores „Thalhamer Moos“ im Isental als Lebensraum für Wiesenbrüter, wie Bekassine und Kiebitz, und für seltene Insekten hat sich die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern seit 1999 zur Aufgabe gemacht.
