Gemeinsam mit dem Biber gestalten die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern und ihre Kooperationspartner einen Feuchtlebensraum bei Gartenried in der Oberpfalz. Schwarz- und Weißstorch sowie viele Amphibien danken es ihnen.
Den Erhalt des Niedermoores „Thalhamer Moos“ im Isental als Lebensraum für Wiesenbrüter, wie Bekassine und Kiebitz, und für seltene Insekten hat sich die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern seit 1999 zur Aufgabe gemacht.
Ausgezeichnetes Projekt der UN-Dekade Biologische Vielfalt
Im Landkreis Amberg engagiert sich die Wildland-Stiftung Bayern seit 2003 zur Optimierung von Stillgewässern als Lebensraum für Amphibien und Libellen.
Im August und im September 2014 kartierte Experte Manfred Schön die Libellen- und Tagfalterfauna auf den Flächen der Wildland-Stiftung im Thalhamer Moos – und entdeckte Erstaunliches.
